Consumer Financing Product Lead - Global Payment

In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on global scale across all ByteDance's business use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Own the overall strategy and roadmap for our Cashloan or BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) products, defining the mid-to-long-term product direction and growth targets, and driving execution across cross-functional teams such as legal, compliance, engineering, design, marketing, and business. - Break down market trends, customer behavior, and operational data from a commercial perspective to identify opportunities for scalable growth and monetization, translating them into clear product decisions and priorities. - Develop a deep understanding of how credit risk management works, and collaborate effectively with risk, treasury/funding, and business teams to make sound trade-offs across risk, cost, growth, and user experience, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the product. - Lead the solution design and integration with payment and funding partners, ensuring a seamless user experience, robust transaction flows, and adherence to regulatory standards across markets. - Take end-to-end ownership of the full lifecycle of our Cashloan or BNPL products, from product definition and launch through to operational optimization, owning the core business outcomes. - Partner with the analytics team to build the operational analytics framework, KPIs, and core dashboards that drive continuous iteration and optimization of the product and business. - Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and best practices, proactively feeding insights into the product strategy.
