Global Trade Compliance Specialist / Manager

Our Global Legal Compliance team provides key support for ByteDance’s and TikTok’s innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our global markets. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal and compliance guidance and support. The Global Legal Compliance team is growing fast and seeking highly experienced, bright, and capable compliance professionals to join us. We are looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Specialist to be based in Singapore to join our Global Legal Compliance team as a key member to advise and support import, customs and export controls related issues. The ideal candidate is willing to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams in different time zones. Key Responsibilities - Participates in and contributes to a wide range of trade compliance activities and cross-functional engagements. - Possesses in depth knowledge of global customs and import laws, including US, EU, and APAC laws, and relevant agency guidance. - Maintains and improves TikTok's trade compliance policies, procedures, and controls. - Supports in preparing and delivering trade compliance training. - Performs HS classification reviews. - Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates trade compliance risk across the global supply chain. - Maintains trade compliance records and reports.
