<h3>About the Position</h3> <p>We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist who can help our Talent Development team design and facilitate high-quality learning experiences. Ideally, you should have a teaching or training background, a strong understanding of how people learn, and a passion for creating impact through education.</p> <p>In this role, you will create and maintain a broad set of content—including developing new objectives and assessments, and rewriting and reshaping existing content. You’ll work closely with HR partners, subject-matter experts, peer instructional designers, and other external partners as you analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain engaging and effective learning experiences for your colleagues.</p> <p>Additional responsibilities of the role will include:</p> <ul> <li>Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while delivering high-quality work on time</li> <li>Performing the research and needs analysis required in the development of content; and mapping course content and learning activities to the appropriate learning objectives</li> <li>Using a content-development framework to create engaging and effective learning content (e.g., courses, presentations, videos, one-pagers, hands-on activities, assignments)</li> <li>Designing learning experiences to support a variety of modalities (e.g., self-paced online training, virtual classroom training, in-person classroom training, or a blend thereof)</li> <li>Facilitating classroom-based training where appropriate</li> <li>Evaluating feedback and prioritizing updates to improve experiences for future learners</li> </ul> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li>Have 7-10 years of experience developing, implementing, and improving online and in-person learning experiences</li> <li>Have a BA or MA in instructional design, education, or similar with excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional-design models</li> <li>Experienced with implementing adult-learning best practices and leading end-to-end instructional design projects</li> <li>Able to write, edit, and proofread effective copy, instructional text, presentations, and audio and video scripts</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communicator; able to facilitate small and large group sessions</li> <li>Have a highly collaborative mindset; proven able to work with employees across a wide range of disciplines and build credibility throughout an organization</li> <li>Experienced in developing relationships with technical and non-technical people alike</li> <li>Organized with strong project management skills; experienced with managing complex projects</li> </ul> <p><em>If you&#39;re a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to [email protected].</em></p>
