<p><strong>About the position</strong></p> <p>Our goal is to give you a real sense of what it's like to work at Jane Street full time while also providing a truly unparalleled educational experience. As an intern, you'll be paired with full-time employees who act as mentors, collaborating with you on real-world projects we actually need done.</p> <p>As an SP Intern, you'll work on projects that combine big-picture thinking with rigorous analytical problem-solving. You'll learn to break down complex challenges into actionable steps, use data to inform decisions, and build frameworks to tackle business questions. Many of us were in the same position before working here. If you have a curious mind, a collaborative nature, and a passion for solving interesting problems, we have a feeling you'll fit right in. We're more interested in how you think and learn than what you currently know. You should be:</p> <ul> <li>Someone who excels at taking a structured and careful approach to solving problems, communicates effectively, can drive projects forward, and has exceptional attention to detail</li> <li>Excited to learn about a wide range of disciplines and subject matter, including global market dynamics, technical systems and tooling, operational infrastructure, and more</li> <li>Eager to ask questions, admit mistakes, and constantly deepen your understanding</li> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, an MBA, or another advanced degree</li> <li>Available to start working full-time in September 2028</li> </ul> <p>We review applications on a rolling basis and treat all applications equally, regardless of when you apply.
